Sparkle of Love
Neither do I wish the Sun
To rise from west
And the Moon
To take a day of rest
Nor do I wish the stars
To sparkle on my request.
This naive soul of mine,
Have some wishes dinkum eye-opening.
O’ love! Tell the Moon to shine tonight,
With your mildness.
Tell the stars to engrid me
In its silvery sparkle,
As your clasp.
I miss your tender touch,
I will camouflage it from this virulent world.
It’ll bring that broad smile,
On your luscious lips.
It’ll assuage my woebegone soul,
With your fondness and love.
