ALLUSIONS OF FORTUNE
#allusionseriespoem -36
On a night when sleep
Left me abandoned
And I couldn’t fall asleep,
I went out into the street angry
Walking from side to side,
Waiting for dawn.
I entered a dark alley,
I saw the allusions of my fortune
Next to a dead end…
I was very admired
By listening in the voice,
That voice of my soul.
And that dawn
They sang wildly
Longing and passion.
The misadventure watched
Misfortune applauded,
The disappointment was crying.
And in a farther corner,
It was also found
Fortune in disguise; seemed to be absent
Showing indifference,
To the descendants of my future.
Upon giving my input
They had a laugh, then telling me:
You’d better go.
Because today, as in the past,
We are your life.
I felt a tightness in my chest
I jumped on my bed
And when I felt awake,
I asked myself, if I dreamed,
Or did I even go in,
In my allusions of fortune?
