Endless Sleepless Nights,
Owls and bats rejoices
As they echo in the darkness
With mysteriosly terrifying voices
That dwells in hearts like a sickness,
The dreams I had are cruel
And their meaning vague
Like a lantern out of fuel
The sun is put out to rest,
In this dark sightless night
I often wonder what relation binds
Falling stars with dreams of fright
That comes and goes like spring winds,
Stars above twinkle and shine
When I stayed awake all night
Under the shadow of the moon
Amidst music from the chirping crickets,
Spending endless sleepless nights
Like Arthur’s Knights at night
This days metal swords are blunt,
But pens have become sharper.
