” WINTER MORNING”
Winter morning is spreading its wings
With cold, smiling face it sings
Cuckoos in their nests do blink
Sweet flowers waiting for the sun to wink
Slowly the sun rising in the East
Ladies at home waiting for the feast
Walking together gossiping in the garden
Is a beautiful chore for the damsels at ease
Women sitting, sipping tea beside the hearth
Looking out of the window pane with mirth
Shiny dew drops dancing on the Earth
Animals getting up looking at the wee hour dearth
Children shivering on the way to school
Office – goers trying to sizzle in a car pool
Labourers shrinking, covering faces with wool
Are on the go for their work in cool !!
