Ans-:
Yes, my grandfather, Professor Upendra Mishra is the prestigious Sahitya Academy Award holder and many more honours have been attached to his creative excellence.

2) Which writers did you enjoy reading as a reader?
Ans-:I always read the books of Shakespeare, Arundhati Roy,Chetan Bhagat, Pretti Shenoy and Paul Coelho and so forth…

3) Does writing energize or exhaust you?
Ans-:Writing vitalises my soul and I vent all my emotions through writings only.

4) Who are your favourite living writers?
Ans-:Arundhati Roy, Salman Rashadi, Jhumpa Lahiri, Ruskin Bond…

5) Tell us about some of the books you’ve enjoyed
Ans-:The Alchemist, The God of Small Things, Lajja, Yajnaseni, The Palace of Illusion, It happens for a reason, It’s All in the Planets, Half Girlfriend, One Indian Girl and many more

6) How do you work on your poems?
Ans-:In my solitude, I weave all my emotions and they become pearl-like beads to form a constellation of stars in my creative mind.

7) How does poetry make you feel?
Ans-::
Poetry is an eternal bliss. It renders me overwhelming feelings of nectar-like presence.

8) What advice would you give to budding young poets?

Ans_: Read, Research and tread on…
You can find a way out. Just be an avid reader. You can touch the pinnacle of glory if you strive to win the hurdles.

9) Why is poetry important?
Ans-: “Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feeling recollected in tranquillity.”
So poetry like music is the soul of our lives.
Without poetry, life will be a void with barren thoughts having no charms.

10)If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?
Ans-:Dear younger self, you should not be fragile and broken. You should be inclined towards Divine power. You would not be so pessimistic about your life. You should be confident to trudge the untrodden paths of life like your older version.

The Price of Trust :
I have allowed many people to dwell in my soul,
I have treasured them in my heart,
But they tore my heart into numerous parts,
I was left with my tattered state.

And every time, I was left behind by a gush of memory,
The memories simply drench me in the pool of misery,
The misery would grow to a stage of melancholy,
By inflicting pain and injury

So with time, I tame my mind to curb my emotions,
I allow my mind to move on,
And I drive to a state of oblivion,
I no longer greet such masked persons…

O God, please bless me to regain,
So that I can rebuild my notion,
Please imbibe my lost faith in humans,
And fix it because they are only your creations.
