SOUL OF THE SOIL
You hear or not the whispering
Soul of the soil calls you her side;
Full of patience and painstaking
Never loses temper; keeps inside;
Unruly men; outrageous thoughts
Fell to understand the soul of the soil;
Thought her lifeless; mud and clay
But she’s the mother of you, me and all;
Journey from birth to death in her lap
Involvement of each moment in life;
We all are non-existent without her
Tomfoolery makes us blind and strife;
The greatest giver, incomparable
But the ungrateful humans we are;
For the sake of improved socialization
Become deaf, avoiding her we go far;
Love for the soil and the soil for soul
Time to think, why does the soil call?
To embrace the mother earth recalling
Her sacrifice for both life and living all.
