LET’S PAINT FOR GREEN
Heavenly earth is plundered today
Not because of wild animals and birds;
Rather we the people became oppressors
Broke the temple of their innocent herds.
Untimely game plays the mother earth
Natural calamities often come to frighten;
Warn to soften our attitude and thoughts
Renewing and restoring is to strengthen.
Our silliness laughs at us, says hothead!
Imbalances made in water, air and earth;
A great loss is there in the green globe
Agitation is because of diversities’ birth.
Today is the time of atonement of a wrong
Mother earth weeps and needs our help;
Glorious past beckons for green bedding
Plantation of trees is important for oneself.
Afforestation and its conservation around
With our soulful expression and attitude;
Growing plantation in fallow land nearby
Our motto is to work for her, not solitude.
