ସାଜଇ ବିପତ୍ତି ଉଠଇ କୋହ !
ଆଜି ଏ ମଣିଷ କଲା କିସ ଦୋଷ
ଜାତି ଲାଗି ହଜି ଯାଏ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି,
କିଏ ଗଢ଼ିଥିଲା କାହା ଦୋଷ ହେଲା
ବୌଦ୍ଧିକ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ହୁଏ ବିପତ୍ତି,
ଜାତି ନାମେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ହୋଇବ କି କ୍ଷୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ
କି ଲାଗି ଏ ଦଣ୍ଡ ହେବ ପ୍ରବାହ,
ସମ୍ପଦ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସରକାର ଦୀକ୍ଷା
ନ କଲେ ଆଉ କେ ରଖିବ କହ।
ଏମିତି ବୁଝିଲେ ବଞ୍ଚିବ କି ଭଲେ
ଆପଣା ଜ୍ଞାନରେ କା’ ଅଧିକାର,
ତେବେ ଅକାରଣେ ରୋଧନ କାରଣେ
ନିର୍ଦୋଷକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ କେଉଁ ପ୍ରକାର?
ଏମିତି କିପରି ହେବ ଏତେ ସରି
ଜ୍ଞାନ ପାଇଁ ସ୍ପୃହା ଆସିବ କାହିଁ,
ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗୀ ମନ ପଡ଼ିବ ମଳିନ
ବୌଦ୍ଧିକ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ବଢ଼ିବ ନାହିଁ,
ଜାତି ନାମେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ହେବ ସଙ୍କୋଚନ
ଜୀବନେ ଆଉ କି ରହିବ ମୋହ,
ବୌଦ୍ଧିକ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଦିଏ ନାହିଁ ଗତି
ସାଜଇ ବିପତ୍ତି ଉଠଇ କୋହ।
ଦୁର୍ବଳେ ଶକତି ଦେବା ହେଉ ନୀତି
ନରହୁ ଆପତ୍ତି ହେଉ ସମ୍ମତି,
ବୌଦ୍ଧିକ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦୁର୍ଗତି
ଆସନ୍ତେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷେ ପାଆନ୍ତି ଶାସ୍ତି!
