ପାହାନ୍ତି ସପନ ଦେଇ ଯାଏ ମନେ
କେତେ ନୂଆ ଅଭିଳାଷ
ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ଯଦି ମୋର ସତ ହୁଏ କେବେ
ରହିବନି ଅବଶୋଷ ।।
ଅସୁମାରୀ ଆଶା ଏ ମନ ଭିତରେ
ରହିଛି ଅନେକ ଦିନୁ
ପାହାନ୍ତି ସପନେ ଦେଖିଥିବା ଦୃଶ୍ୟ
ଲିଭେ ନାହିଁ ମୋର ମନୁ ।।
ଇଚ୍ଛା ମୋର ସବୁ ଏ ଛାତି ଭିତରେ
କୁହୁଲି କୁହୁଲି ଜଳେ
ପାହାନ୍ତି ସପନେ ଦେଖିଲେ ସେ ସବୁ
ସତ ହେବ ବୋଲି ଭାଳେ ।।
ପୋଥି, ପୁରାଣରୁ ଶୁଣିଛି ଅନେକ
ପାହାନ୍ତି ସପନ କଥା
ସେଇ ଆଶା ନେଇ ସପନ ଦେଖୁଛି
କଟି ଯିବ ବୋଲି ବ୍ୟଥା ।।
