ନିଦକ ନିଦାଘ ସତେ ନିଦାରୁଣ
ଜଳାଏ ମୋ ମନ ଦେହ
ପଥିକଟିଏ ମୁଁ ତୃଷାରେ ଆତୁର
ଓଠ ପିଏ ଆଖି ଲୁହ ।।
ପତର ବିହୀନ ପାଦପ ଶାଖାରେ
ଝୁଲୁଛି ଚଇତି ଖରା
ଝଡ଼ର ଡେଣାରେ ପ୍ରଳୟ ଆସିଛି
ଭୟ ଗ୍ରାସେ ସସାଗରା ।।
ପାଖୁଡା ପାଖୁଡା ଅନେକ ଯାତନା
କଲବଲ ହୁଏ ପ୍ରାଣ
ଛିଟ ପ୍ରଜାପତି ମନ ବଗିଚାରେ
ଦୁଃଖେ ସତେ ମ୍ରିୟମାଣ ।।
ଶିରା ପ୍ରଶିରାରୁ ଲହୁ ଲୁହ ଯେତେ
ଶୋଷେ ମାୟା ମରୀଚିକା
ସବୁ ରଙ୍ଗ ଆଜି ଧୂସର ବିବର୍ଣ୍ଣ
ପ୍ରୀତି ରଙ୍ଗ ଫିକା ଫିକା ।।
ନିଦାଘ ଯେ ଗାଏ ବିଧ୍ବଂସୀ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ
ତୁଟାଏ ସଂସାର ମୋହ
କେତେ ଯେ ଆହତ ଅଭିମାନେ ଆଜି
ଛାତିରୁ ଉଠୁଛି କୋହ ।।
