ମଣିଷ ଏକ ଶାଶ୍ୱତ ମହାସିଡି
ଜନ୍ମ ମରଣର ମହାକାଳ ଆଖି
ଦିନେ ନା ଦିନେ ମୋୖସୁମୀ ଆସିବ
ଢ଼ାଙ୍କି ହୋଇଥିବା ବାଦଲଖଣ୍ଡ ସବୁ
ଦିନେ ଵୋହିଯିବ ବର୍ଷାପାଣି ହୋଇ
ତଳକୁ ତଳକୁ ଜମା ଅଟକିବ ନାହିଁ
ନା ଥିବ ମଣିଷର ପ୍ରତାରଣାର ଛାଇ
ନା ଥିବ ମହାନତାର ଅହଂକାର
ନା ଥିବ ତୁମର ଅର୍ଜିତ ପୁଞ୍ଜିଭୁତ
ନା ସାମ୍ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଶାଳ କାୟା
ସବୁ ଝଡ଼ିଯିବ ସମୟର କରାଳରେ
କିନ୍ତୁ ଆଜିର ମଣିଷ ବୁଝୁନାହିଁ କିଛି
ତା’ର କରୁଣାର ମେଘ ଉଭେଇଯାଉଛି
ହଜିଯାଉଛି ପ୍ରେମ,ସ୍ନେହଁ,ମଧୁରତା
ରକ୍ତରେ ଚହଲି ଉଠୁଛି ବିକ୍ଷୋଭର ଢେଉ
କୁଣ୍ଡଳାୟିତ ହେଉଛି ତା’ର ଗୁଣସୂତ୍ର
ଖାଲି ଅଧିକାର କରିବା ଇଛାରେ
ନାହିଁ ସେଇ ତ୍ୟାଗ ଆଉ ମହାନତା
ଖାଲି ନିଜ ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥରେ ଅନ୍ଧ ହୋଇ
ବାଟ ହୁଡ଼ି ଚାଲୁଅଛି ବାରମ୍ବାର
ନିଜର କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟକୁ ପୁରା ଭୁଲିଯାଇଛି
