ପ୍ରେମଲତା ସାହୁ

ସ୍ୱାଧୀନ ଦେଶରେ ଜନତା ଏବେ ବି
ପରାଧୀନ ହୋଇ ବଞ୍ଚିଛି,
ଗରିବ ଦଳିତ ଶୋଷଣ ବଢ଼ଇ
ବେକାରୀ ଦାଦନ ଖଟୁଛି।।
ବିନା ଲାଞ୍ଚେ କିଛି କାମ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ
ନାରୀ ଜାତି ବଳି ପଡେ,
ବଳାତ୍କାର ହୁଏ ଦିନ ଦି” ପହରେ
ଅପରାଧ ଖାଲି ବଢ଼େ।।
ନ୍ୟାୟ ମିଳେ ନାହିଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧୋଷୀ କୁ ଜମା
ଦୋଷୀ ରୁହେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ରେ,
ନାରୀ ଜାତି ନିଜ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ କି
ଏବେ ବି ଲଢେଇ କରେ।।
ଭୁଆଁ ବୁଲାଅନ୍ତି ଜନତା ଙ୍କୁ ଆମ
(ଦେଶ)ମଙ୍ଗ ଧରିଥିବା ଲୋକେ,
ଶାସନ ନାଁ ରେ ଶୋଷଣ କରନ୍ତି
ଗରିବ ରୁହନ୍ତି ଭୋକେ।।
ସ୍ୱାଧୀନ ଦେଶ ଟା ପରାଧୀନ ପରା
ଦେଶ କାନ୍ଦୁଅଛି ଏଠି,
ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବିକେ ଲୋକ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଆଗରେ
