ALLUSIONS OF SELF PORTRAIT
#allusionseriespoem – 30
Take a selfie 🤳 to paint a self-portrait
Although It’s a thankless job,
But it requires patience
That to come out perfect
First it must be done,
As an examination of conscience.
Say if our person,
Is it a bad thing or a good thing
It’s not up to us;
It’s up to those around us,
If it’s beautiful or ugly
What is reflected in us.
Paint an original portrait,
Using an impartial tone
No special effects,
It’s not an ordinary case,
Because who knows how to paint
Knows how to cover up flaws.
Paint a serious portrait
Where there is no mystery,
Leaving everything on display:
There are those who call an artistic nude
Dispensing with any couplet,
But not everyone likes it.
To paint your portrait,
Take the phone as square feet
And, roll up your sleeves,
To go out with more care
Which can make the mirror a model,
But the glass became cloudy with shy.
No model in sight it’s our artist soul,
Which lost the strength due to nightmares.
Based on this fact
Hey! Listen don’t paint your portrait,
Due to the lack of inspiration.
