I do not know the limits of darkness,
I don’t understand the hardships of steam,
No one asked me about my date of birth,
I did not rejoice or grieve,
Looking at someone with a black and white face.
Yet I burns,
Without difficulty, without complaint,
But someone will ask,
What is the reason for my burning?
Sometimes it hurts,
Yet I could not tell anyone.
But courage is bound in the mind,
Anyway, at least I didn’t go down without explaining myself first.
In its dim light will lose the darkness,
I may be illiterate or superstitious,
Wanting to send a message,
To never break anyone’s hopes,
Who may be sad or prestigious.
I burns among all the time,
The throat is vaporized,
With some more kerosene
Never asked for the blessing of everlasting innovation from anyone,
Burning to ward off the darkness of the world.
